The Wingee Thingee – Maple Lab × Heroin Skateboards


The Wingee Thingee is the latest release in the ongoing collaboration between Maple Lab and Heroin Skateboards. Inspired by Heroin’s full-size Wingee Thingee, this fingerboard is a tribute to the iconic 1980s Ben Lexcen B52 Skatewing—one of skateboarding’s most distinctive and unconventional shapes. Just like the original, the Wingee Thingee is built to encourage creativity and open the door to tricks that simply aren’t possible on a conventional deck. Measuring 98mm long, 34mm wide over the trucks, and an incredible 52mm at the wing tips, this is unlike anything else in the Maple Lab lineup.


The deck features symmetrical nose and tail kicks with Maple Lab’s proven geometry and a 42mm wheelbase (measured between the inner truck mounting holes), delivering a familiar feel despite its wild outline. Each deck is handmade from 5-ply Hard Rock Canadian maple, featuring three stained veneers and finished to Maple Lab’s exacting standards. For the first time, Maple Lab is introducing direct UV-printed graphics on a fingerboard deck. The graphics are printed directly onto the wood, producing vibrant colours with exceptional wear resistance. They’re incredibly difficult to scratch, ensuring the artwork stays looking fresh even after heavy sessions. The Wingee Thingee is available in two colourways:
